Highlights
Your journey begins at the cruise ship terminal and you will go together with your guide by e-bike to Rossio Station in Lisbon, where your guide will take your group to Sintra by train.
When starting the tour in Sintra, you can already spot the impressive Moorish Castle on the hill.
Riding through Sintra’s charming streets, you’ll pass by the National Palace, a stunning landmark with its iconic twin chimneys. As you continue, your guide will share captivating stories of the many palaces you will find in the area, bringing history to life as you cycle.
The route takes you through scenic forest roads, offering breathtaking views of Sintra’s landscape. You'll pass by Monserrate Palace, a hidden gem in the forest. Next, you will take a well-deserved break. The lunch is not included, but we will stop at a typical local restaurant.
After lunch, you’ll ride toward a scenic viewpoint, Peninha Sanctuary, with a stunning view over Sintra Natural Park and Cascais, the perfect place to take some pictures all together. From there, the adventure continues through the forest, leading to one of the tour’s highlights: Cabo da Roca, the most western point of Europe inland, where beautiful cliffs meet the endless ocean.
The adventure continues with a relaxed ride along Cascais’ stunning coastline and famous beaches.
We will visit Boca do Inverno, an impressive cave in the limestone cliffs.
As the tour comes to an end, you’ll enjoy a downhill ride towards Cascais train station, where we will celebrate the end of the tour with a scenic train ride along the coast while reflecting on an incredible day.
